Interior design and furniture selection services for The Polyclinic's new 15,000 sf pediatrics and obstetrics-gynecology clinic, a full floor renovation of an existing medical office in the Nordstrom Tower on First Hill. Because the reception areas for both practices were connected by a shared elevator lobby, it was essential for each practice to have its own identity but work together. Finish selections provided a warm, sophistocated, calm environment geared towards the majority-female patient base of both practices, though age-appropriate for each. The furniture selection for this location served as a mock-up to establish furniture standards for all Polyclinic locations, including fabrics that met the technical requirements of a medical facility, but created a playful, non-institutional feel.
