A dated, dark kitchen was updated with the priorities of bringing in natural light, opening up the space, and overall creating a more modern feel.  The wall was removed between the kitchen and dining room, ceilings were vaulted and skylights were added over the dining room, and larger windows were added at the front of the house.  Kitchen elements were reorganized to maximize counter space and storage, and improve flow and use of space.  The owners are excited to use the new spaces for cooking, entertaining and displaying their collection of art and glassware.
